Settings

Most players never need this page: Your guide covers the everyday choices. Lodestar’s full settings are for fine tuning the trail, such as how far ahead it reaches or how closely it hugs the ground.

  • In game: open Your guide, turn on More options, and press Advanced settings at the end of the list. This opens Lodestar’s settings screen, titled Lodestar Trail settings. That screen saves each change as you make it: Cancel on Your guide does not undo them. Look settings changed there show in the Your guide preview when you return.
  • As a file: config/lodestar-trail-client.toml in your game folder. Lodestar creates it the first time the game starts. Edit it with the game closed, or Minecraft may write over your changes.

The labels below are the names shown on the settings screen, with the file’s name for each setting. Distances are in blocks.

These are the same choices as Your guide. Changing them in either place changes both.
